The Q5 follows in the legacy of its bigger sibling, the Q7, which is already a big rage amongst the well heeled in India; however the Q5 comes across as a package that is better suited for India. This is primarily due to its proportions, which are considerably smaller than the Q7, therefore making it easier to handle on our narrow roads and bumper to bumper traffic. For India, the Q5 is set to come with two engine options, namely 2.0 litre TSI 4 cylinder petrol that churns out a healthy 211HP between 4300-6000 rpm and generates a generous torque of 350Nm between 1500-4200rpm. The second engine happens to be the familiar 3.0 litre TDI V6 diesel that does duty under the Q7's hood as well.
